Om Flow
OM Slow Flow - Typical postures of yoga are approached with great care and allow the student to gradually explore their flexibility at an unhurried pace as well as develop core strength and improve balance.
OM Flow I is our foundational class that explores the most common yoga asanas (postures) with an emphasis on alignment and breath. This class is where students can begin to develop a regular yoga practice.
OM Flow II offers more varied and slightly more energetic postures with an emphasis on alignment and breath and is best suited for students who already have a regular yoga practice.
Aerial Yoga
Aerial Yoga is the practice of traditional Hatha yoga with a soft fabric hammock suspended a few feet off the ground. The hammock is a prop like a strap or block, intended to assist alignment, deepen awareness and provide immediate benefits of spinal decompression. With the weight of the body partially or fully supported along with the help of gravity and the fabric, you can explore and possibly create space in your body as intended in traditional yoga practice.
Please note:
Participation in, and registration for, this class requires the successful completion of our 2-Hour Aerial Basics Workshop.
Class size is limited and pre-registration is required. *Late cancel fees apply: All students (including monthly members) canceling with less than 24 hours notice will be assessed a full drop-in fee payment.
Please do not wear any jewelry or metal (such as zippers). For your own comfort, please do wear clothing that will cover your legs and upper arms. You will often be upside down, so supportive tops are recommended for your modesty.
Hot Yoga
Hot Slow Flow Yoga features typical postures of yoga approached with great care and allows the student to gradually explore their flexibility at an unhurried pace as well as develop core strength and improve balance, while in a heated studio.
Hot Yoga I stimulates good circulation and a healthy sweat! Join us for vinyasa flow, attention to breath, and mindful strength in the heat.
Hot Yoga II offers vinyasa flow in a heated studio environment just like our Hot Yoga I. A bit more rigorous in nature, Hot Yoga II may offer more complex postures, the option to sustain strength for a longer time, or a slightly more lively pace. This is not a beginner level class.
Gentle Yoga
Gentle Yoga is for anyone seeking a slower, meditative experience. Postures are approached with great care and allow the student to gradually explore their flexibility at an unhurried pace. Recommended for students with recovering injuries. No previous experience necessary.
Yogalates Sculpt
Yogalates Sculpt combines the best of yoga, mat pilates and resistance training into an hour long comprehensive class. This blended class combines the flexibility and spiritual/mental health benefits of yoga, the focused core strength/stability of pilates and the improved strength and muscle tone of resistance training. This class begins like many traditional yoga classes with centering and dynamic stretches. Next we move onto mat pilates to strengthen the core stabilizes (the “powerhouse” and center of our bodies) that provide the foundation for all our movements. The class continues with a heart pumping yoga flow using weights to challenge our bodies, minds and build strength and improved fitness. Finally the class closes with gentle stretches and a tension releasing final pose, savasana.
