Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice requiring nothing more of us than to lie down and listen. A systematic method of complete relaxation and peace; it suspends us in the space between wakefulness and sleep, the place we visit naturally before we fall asleep; a place of deep calm, quiet and clarity. We emerge from Yoga Nidra refreshed and alert. Krista describes it as “Savasana on steroids”!
Dress as you would for a yoga class, but be sure to include a layer for warmth, including cozy socks. Props will be provided, however, you may wish to bring a blanket from home if you have any allergies to wool. You may also wish to bring a journal for post-practice reflection (optional).
