Melanie McGovern advocates for acknowledging where your body and mind are today, knowing that tomorrow may feel completely different. She came to yoga a decade ago seeking relief from chronic pain and found herself moving in a direction of balance, contentment, peace and joy. Mel completed training at Samadhi Center for Yoga & Meditation in Denver, Colorado in 2012 as a 200-Hr Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance © in addition to professional circus arts training with an emphasis in aerial fabric among other disciplines such as physical theatre, dance and acrobatics. She enjoys sharing with others the mental and physical healing that yoga provides while creating space for joy, playfulness and empowerment. When she’s not teaching you can find her performing locally, dancing or walking in Baxter Woods with her dog and partner.
