Lauren Jacobs has been practicing yoga since high school, and decided last year to participate in the ’16-’17 Om Land Yoga YTT program. It turned out to be an important source of stability and peace in a very chaotic and stressful year. Lauren is a teacher in many ways (physical education teacher, outdoor program leader, and now college professor) but she loves having the opportunity to help students from all backgrounds discover the benefits of yoga through their own exploration and practice. If she’s not on the mat she can probably be found exploring somewhere in the great outdoors with her husband and dog. She loves cross-country skiing, running, and stand-up paddle boarding, as well as finding a relatively flat place to do a little al fresco yoga!
