With the coming of warmth and sunlight, spring is called “the morning of the year” in the Ayurvedic tradition. A new beginning! As we follow the path of nature’s cycles, we notice a seasonal as well as an internal shift towards the awakening renewal of spring. We intuitively begin the process of clearing out the lingering heavy effect of winter to create lightness, clarity, and energy.
Join Isis Bell-Smith and Mary Evans for this 2 hour workshop~ warming and invigorating the body and mind using asana (postures), pranayama (breath), meditation, and the time-honored system of holistic healing called Ayurveda to adjust and attune ourselves to best greet this new season of revitalization! Open to all levels of practice. Novices welcome! Wear comfy clothes for movement.
Refreshments which support the season and a handout of suggested Ayurvedic foods and practices will be offered.
