Krista moved from New Jersey to Maine in 2000 in order to live a life more connected to the seasons and nature. She lives on an old farm with lots of woods and lots of critters. Yoga is a perfect complement to her life as she practices being present with what is. Krista’s favorite thing about yoga is that no matter how you go into a class – you come out happy. She especially loves the heart opening of backbends, the worldview of inversions and the fun of playing around with arm balances.
Krista is grateful for the support and guidance of her past, present (and future!) yoga teachers, especially those at Om Land Yoga. She is particularly grateful for the guidance of those teachers who have taught her the many joys and challenges of teaching, itself – Terry Lacy, Angela Fileccia, Caroline Trostel, Kitty Wilkin and Rolf Gates, and to all the students who make the decision to show up on the mat.
