After dabbling in yoga for eight years Katie discovered Om Land Yoga studios and began attending classes. There her passion for yoga was truly ignited! Katie has a B.S. in Sociology from the University of Maine and a background as a group fitness instructor and certified personal trainer. She recently completed the Om Land Yoga Teacher Training Program and became a RYT 200 through the Yoga Alliance. Moving to a more balanced approach toward overall well-being, she expanded her focus to a practice that includes mindfulness, a centering and quieting of the mind, as well as many other physical benefits. Through yoga she wishes to promote playful creativity and the ability to simply be in the present moment.
