Christine Mihan, E-RYT 200, YACEP
Christine’s introduction to yoga came through dance, while studying the ancient Indian dance form of Bharatanatyam. After studying and teaching numerous dance forms throughout Maine, Virginia, and New Jersey for over 15 years, she returned home to Bangor and immersed herself in yoga. After seeing the immense physical and emotional benefits of yoga throughout her first pregnancy, she decided she simply had to teach yoga so she could share those benefits with others. The very first time she ever took an aerial yoga class, she knew she was destined teach it! She completed her RYT-200 at Om Land Yoga in 2012, then completed her Level 1 Unnata Aerial Yoga Teacher Training Course in 2015, and her Level 2 Unnata Aerial Yoga Teacher Training Course in 2018. As a teacher, Christine hopes to share her passion for movement with people of all ages and capabilities. She teaches Prenatal Yoga, Vinyasa Flow Yoga, and Aerial Yoga. Outside the yoga studio, she is a mother of 2 beautiful children, is a bookkeeper, owns Bangor Wine and Cheese with her husband, and teaches dance at the Thomas School of Dance.
