Take your yoga teaching to new heights and discover how to share the immense benefits of aerial yoga with your students. Over the course of two weekends, we’ll explore various ways to use the hammock as an invaluable prop to increase joint mobility, deepen stretches, strengthen the body and bring peace to the mind. The hammock also allows us to explore and rediscover many asanas that are typically used in daily practices, shedding new light on how to teach them on the mat. The course will also cover how to teach others, with sequencing, and safety tips. Upon completion of the course, you will have received 32 hours of continuing education credits for Yoga Alliance.
Program dates are Saturday, April 20, Sunday, April 21, Saturday, May 18, and Sunday, May 19. All days are 8:00am to 5:00pm with a one-hour lunch break.
Participants must have completed a RYT-200 teacher training course, or be actively enrolled with a Yoga Alliance registered Yoga Teacher Training Program to participate in this aerial yoga training program.
Before being accepted into the training, prospective participants must have completed the Application Form.
