Your first step is signing up for an Aerial Yoga Basics Workshop. We are offering these workshops as a means of getting your feet wet with an aerial practice and to cover basic techniques and safety issues you will encounter in a future class. Completing the Aerial Yoga Basics Workshop is a prerequisite to taking any of our regularly scheduled Aerial Yoga classes.

Also, a few tips for your first visit.

  1. Leave the jewels at home – bracelets, earrings, necklaces, watches, and even zippers are at risk of getting hung up in the fabric.
  2. Arrive at least 5 minutes before the start time so we will have time to match you up to the hammock that best suits your height. Otherwise you may get stuck with a hammock that is too high or too low.
  3. Wear long pants that aren’t too baggy. The fabric can feel a little harsh on your skin until you become more used to it.
