Going deeper into yoga practice often requires slowing down and refining. Some of the most useful tools and beautiful mysteries of practice can be found at our fingertips and in our minds with Mudras and Mantras. Mudras are often defined as gestures or seals, this helps us to understand the effect they have on the flow of prana through the body, and how we can redirect some of that energy back towards our center. They also awaken our sense of touch and enhance the quality of expression in asanas. Mantras assist with calming our thoughts by directing the mind in a positive, repetitive pattern. They can be very powerful for breaking attachments.Come explore these techniques combined with some of your favorite asanas in a wonderful, deep Mellow Flow!
