Have you always thought about what it would be like to fly? Want to take your yoga practice to the next level? Give Aerial Yoga a try!
Your first step is signing up for an Aerial Yoga Basics Workshop. We are offering these workshops as a means of getting your feet wet with an aerial practice and to cover basic techniques and safety issues you will encounter in a future class. Completing Part 1 and Part 2 of the Aerial Yoga Basics Workshop is a prerequisite to taking any of our regularly scheduled Aerial Yoga classes.
Use the following links to sign-up online. Available spots fill fast. If you don’t see a date or time that works for you, please check back here soon as we continue to add additional workshops as they fill up.
Also, a few tips for your first visit.
- Leave the jewels at home – bracelets, earrings, necklaces, watches, and even zippers are at risk of getting hung up in the fabric.
- Arrive at least 5 minutes before the start time so we will have time to match you up to the hammock that best suits your height. Otherwise you may get stuck with a hammock that is too high or too low.
- Wear long pants that aren’t too baggy. The fabric can feel a little harsh on your skin until you become more used to it.
